Do you want to know why professional reviewers are reluctant to give bad reviews to the offerings of Amazon, Disney, Warner Bros etc? Really? Are you eight years old?
For a start, like everyone else in the media, they are generally woke as fuck. But secondly, and more importantly, if they give bad reviews they get taken of the list of reviewers that get interview access, pre-release copies of films/shows and, yes, goody-bags.
Can you think of a reason why Wonder Woman 1984 and Stargirl didn't get review-bombed? No, I'll give you a clue. While being not very good and bang average respectively, they didn't shit all over the source material or Mary-Sue the heroines. And the men in the supporting cast, heroes or villains were treated respectfully.
This is the new paradigm. Control the review sites, RT (NBC/Warner Bros) and IMDB (Amazon), manipulate the scores, delete bad reviews and ratings and then accuse the audience of racism/sexism if they give your stuff bad reviews.
I notice that Amazon are still not allowing user reviews for LOTR:ROP four days after they introduced a 72 hour pause on reviews it falsely claimed it had been doing for months.

LOTR has strong female characters like Éowyn and Galadriel. But had no black characters. So The New Lord of the Rings Series has one black dwarf, a mixed race elf and a black hobbit. It's not that woke.
I'm more concerned about the shit acting and not that compelling a story line so far.

I just shoved a search in for reviews... exactly the same thing that is being said by the Guardian is being said by the Independent, the mail, the Sun, Forbes, IGN, Gizmodo, Mashable and fucking Buzz feed... now I have not got a clue if they are all Woke websites... not a scoob... but they are all saying the same thing... like I said personally I'd rather concentrate on the stunning back drops than if there is an occasional black midget or a bird who is quite handy with a dagger.... but that's just me...
